Is it just me or more and more new members are becoming like trolls and acting insensitive of people's posts?

Funny enough, sometimes I want to call Child Services.

People come to SW for different reasons. Here is no Facebook, no Tumblr, no Twitter, etc.

Here, different people from different walks of life who face different things everyday come for a place to breathe away from the judgment of those in real world and other sites.

They are here to be heard, let out thoughts, set their hearts free, and find similar decent people to relate to. So if you're going to come barging into someone's post without tact nor the right amount of decent sensitivity nor heart, just walk away from the post. You do not need to show yourself and comment.

I count as one. But there are some people here I happen to like and want to protect. And no, I would not stand the likes of someone like that around them.

There are things I can let go. But let us please not make someone's place of safety polluted with unprepared hearts.

P.S. And if the one reading this now happens to be a person exhibiting the behavior of the trolls I mentioned, I do hope you get to have a good look in the mirror. There are posts where being playful and making lighthearted jokes is welcome. But when someone bares their heart out on a post, no, it is not for you to decide if it's a place you can barge in and treat lightly. Think of it this way. What would you feel if someone invades your mind and starts treating your insecurities and daily thought journal like a joke? Cause that is essentially what you are doing to other people.

@jehova Different sites, different culture. Discussion mindset makes me think of reddit and quora. SW is neither.
Here, some people come for safety.

So people like us who had a good experience in using the site for healing and know the good it can do want to protect that environment. The site is more than just about a discussion mindset if you let it be, and if around the right people.

Unfortunately I myself have dealt with this a little bit and I haven't even been here all that long.
Casheyane · 31-35, F
@Carebear412 I'm sorry to hear that. I hope you find the good folks.

Some people would make you want to scold them. To be honest, it felt like I was scolding a kid LOL. But others, others make it easily clear they might not be worth it so go straight to block.
This has been on my mind too, and you said it so much better than I could
Thank you.
Some people don't understand that some of us have nowhere else to be heard.
Casheyane · 31-35, F
@SinlessOnslaught That is quite sad, but yeah, it's real.
Zeuro · 26-30, F
So like, you posts where someone is venting their feelings and someone comments rude jokes about it?

Personally I haven’t noticed this happening any more than usual, though it’s really shitty when people do that.
Casheyane · 31-35, F
@Zeuro Yeah, those kinds of things.

It happened recently. New names I barely interacted with or didn't recognize so I thought they might be new.

Sadly a lot of people here are like that and they run the good people off. It really makes me wonder how many of these new accounts are just multiple accounts of current trolls just letting it rip on people who have blocked their other accounts.

Casheyane · 31-35, F
