Right now, our government. Our president is openly racist and supports racist policies, including many that people in our country had managed to reverse only in the last 60-70 years. He recently offered sanctuary here to Afrikaners, who had supported South Africa’s policy of racial segregation. During my childhood, many areas of the U.S. had a similar policy.
