How many fake people are on here?

@CrazyMusicLover Typically the fakes are new people who post sob stories.

@Punches Oh but I mean those long-time users. I don't even notice new users much, tbh.

@CrazyMusicLover Some of the established members who are fake - they fabricate stories for popularity. Sometimes they get caught and after that, they vanish. Kind of like ginny or darkheaven.

I mean, probably most people "fib" a little online but when their entire persona is built on BS, once that collapses, THEN what?

@Punches Yeah, this is what I talk about. You know but I don't. When I asked someone what happened and how people know the truth, I got "I don't need to explain anything to you." 😂 So yeah..

Personally, I think that most of the time it's impossible to know who the user truly is. If it's a man or a woman. I still kind of think that someone who confessed to be a catfish could have been found on another platform and for the sake of her own safety said it wasn't her and she stole someone else's photos. 🤷🏻‍♀

@CrazyMusicLover hmm well.. it is impossible to know who someone truly is when we are acquainted only online, but it doesn't typically matter.

Not unless we have created some kind of real bond with them or if we are trying to conduct business.

For the stolen photos - I imagine if the photo is of an average looking person, yeah it seems legit. It's when it is of someone really hot that one should question.

About the aforementioned people - ginny supposedly got "outed" about her fake stories, I do not remember how. Some people bought into her stories that she was majoring in law but also sleeping with every man in her town.

And someone claiming to be darkheaven's wife created an account revealing everything, that DH is some man claiming to be l3sbian online (like no one would have figured THAT out)

But yeah for the rest of us who do not fabricate huge life stories - no one cares or even asks about our personal lives so nothting to lie about.
