My first avatar was a photo of me as a Genie (in pantomime) I just added the bit extra. It comes particularly useful so people who disagree with me can say things such as 'you named yourself badly' etc and think that they are (1) the first person to come up with it or that (2) a comment like that bothers me, or that (3) it in some way helps their argument.
