Just my opinion…If there was abuse, they could have left….anytime. They killed for the money.
They deleted the newest will because they werent getting anything. They killed kitty cause it was going all to her.
They blew 700k in a year.
They didnt go seek any help for ptsd after the murders. No counselling.
But…
I believe they should get a chance at parole…and (approx)35 years of incarceration is a fair price to pay for murdering your parents.
They werent wrongfully convicted.

@LunarOrbit there's no mention of a will being changed in the case.

@LunarOrbit I don't think they found any evidence of that. Lyle denied it. They never found a new will.

@SW-User Just quoting wikipedia for what its worth.

@LunarOrbit I wasn't fond of this case at all at the time. Now, I'm not sure they got a completely fair trial the second time around. Too much was left out. And, the laws have changed. But what's fair for them should be applied to other cases as well or looked at.

@SW-User I don’t think they deserved life without parole. And 35 years for murder is fair if they have been rehabilitated. But thats all the sympathy they get from me.

@LunarOrbit it's a strange case, I don't celebrate it. It's a horror story.
