It makes me laugh when someone is here for one week, makes a public comment, and everyone accuses them of being an "alt" account.

As if SW is some kind of exclusive gated community where only the popular mutual arse kissing people are legitimate and nobody else is allowed to join without a background check and their approval. Paranoia much?

Sometimes its not quite the public comment, but the way the public comment is presented. Like a familiarity. That does get peoples heckles up.
Yes, a fair deal of paranoia. But with good reason with all that people have witnessed here.
