Damn SW is a code joke.

I accidentally changed my notifications from My activity and didn't realize it. When I noticed I was getting so many notifications I went to look to see why and changed it. Didn't work I even logged out and back in trying to get it to take. Now I'm getting pummeled with notifications. Who wrote this crap?

You mean you still got more notifications? That never happened to me...

Or do you mean the notifications you already got before changing it back didn't disappear? Because settings are applied when generation notifications, not every time you open the list.

Btw, most platforms don't even offer any per-post settings.

@NerdyPotato other platforms don't matter. Truthfully I Don't like social media period. I only came for the reason stated in about me on my profile. I've stayed because being alone now it gives me some form of socializing.
I'm getting notifications the same as I would if All were selected. Notifications of others "comments" on posts I may have commented or replied however which are not related to my activity. Comments or replies.

@Gibbon if the setting doesn't affect future notifications, I suggest creating a support ticket about it.

@NerdyPotato Yeah this place is weird especially the feed. I'll give a day or so. I really miss EP even after all these years. I hope the pedophiles that caused it's closure were caught and castrated. But they never got any media attention so we'll never know.

@NerdyPotato I just found the perfect explanation for what's happening. It's like I clicked Active Notifications at the bottom of a post but I didn't.

@Gibbon that enables them all indeed, but you can change that later and then it shouldn't send any new notifications about other replies to the post anymore. If it still does despite only asking for replies to your comment/activity, that sounds like a bug and you should probably report it.

@NerdyPotato I can't figure out once active notifications for a post is clicked how to undo it. I see no option on ones I know I set.

@NerdyPotato At the top right in front of me. Like a typical human trait I didn't see what was right in front of me. And as well I recognize this perfectly civil constructive conversation we've had as mentioned in one of my posts.
