Why do 96% of (alleged) ex military people ALWAYS somehow get around to letting everyone know they were "in the military"???

The Military People that I know do [i]not[/i] want to be “thanked for their service.”
Yeah, yeah, they did it for “us,” but many of them were more doing it for themselves— to get to a better place, to serve [i]their country[/i], or for their own sense of self worth.
