How did a European like myself ended up in an American forum like this one, SW ???

Idk but we're all going through the trauma together, so it's ok

How many social forums like this are available in Europe?
How does it handle the languages?
Does it provide a choice of language to & from which it translates for the user?
Or do the users rely on being multilingual? If so, that discriminates against people with less education.

I've tried to find a site like this in Australia, but I don't think we have a large enough population or economic base to support one.
I've also tried to find one in England but couldn't.

I would certainly appreciate a wider cultural and geographic social site.

It's not even run in the US

No one in Europe created such a forum. or if they did it was dominated by their native language instead of a global lingua franca.

I often wonder that too. 😅 Okay, technically it's a worldwide forum, but the USA does seem way over represented.

Many Americans as individuals are really open and SW is one example of that...

I agree with @BlueGreenGrey: I have never thought of SW (or EP) as an American forum - there's just so many of them that it's inevitable in an English-speaking world they'll appear to be the dominant group.
