Well, I Seem To Have Found...

...my first real idiot on this platform.

So, a conversation regarding the new Beatles (last) song, 'Now And Then' and just popped up a comment to this guy that loved the track. Fine. Innocently, I answered that I didn't like it, thinking it was a poor song.

..and it was almost like I was insulting his mother!

Onwards, making comments about me being judgemental and then slagging me off and going all intellectually highbrow!

For the record, I like the Beatles. What they represented, their albums and music, their writing. John's passing. George's passing. A.I. Production and all that.

But...I don't think it's a good song!

Simple. Am I not allowed to have an opinion?

Enjoy as much as you like. You're entitled to. But not for me. That's art. It's suppose to be subjective!

God, some people!

Many people from the older generation feel that the Beatles were pretty legendary, so if you tell them about a pop/rock/r n b band from later times they will not like it. The thing is one can relate, as the two genres are completely different in essence, and probably also because they really like the beatles, and your ideas seem to differ from theirs. So they didnt like it.
