They merged a ton of groups and got rid of a lot of groups.

They merged some with renamed groups. Most of those they just never renamed yet.

Google had serious issues with the old EP grouping so in order for Google to index the site google sort of forced them to both reorganize and rename.

Advertising is their profits and google needs to know just what to advertise. The group names are the tags for such search engines. So it was down with the "I" this or that.

They're forums and they threw the EP formula out with the bathwater..best to post Random >random and use your title as your group

Maybe it has a wider scope when the ‘I am’ is removed and only the attribute or activity is referred to.

However, according to SW the title is probably too short😊

We don't need "I am" attached to evert damn thing - that was a stupid concept anyway...

At least this way more people are likely to interact with your posts.
