Surprise Followers - Is this normal on here?

I have only been here for about 10days or so and I have had four (allegedly) young women in their 20s with no postings or previous contact suddenly want to follow me and send me the basic message 'Hi, how are you?'. My message introduction clearly says I won't respond to that, so I wonder if they are some kind of 'bot' that can't read, or that there is indeed a cohort of thick young women who can't read - or simply think they are so gorgeous (all have an attractive picture) that I'm going to be lustfully forced to respond.

Does this happen to all the men on here? Or everyone? Or have found too late a secret I wish I had had when I was in my 20s? 馃槃

I've hidden my Friends list now so as not to give the wrong impression and because I don't want to use up all my Delete credit by the end of the month.

'Hi, how are you?' is quite elaborate, in my experience.
'Hi sexy' is much more concise and "to the point" as a first message, or just a plain and simple 'Hi', without all that unnecessary bla bla bla 馃槕

@helenS "Hi, how are you?" is clearly someone with tertiary education. Fine if you want an intellectual.
