But I also think some are alts. I kinda hope this cuts down on the people who keep making new alts because they know a lot of people mute them on purpose.

@DeluxedEdition Not just the web but many types of shady or shaky work are glorified. Like hearing about "adult" entertainers or drug dealers or some guy that sells paper clips profiting $5000 in one night's work. The average joe thinks, "Damn it takes me umpteen weeks to make that at my 9 to 5 job." Or they have to work 16 hour days to make that money quickly.

So then some "promising" BS comes along and Joe/Jane average, who is struggling, thinks "Well I can take the easy road and get rich overnight!"

People forget that there is no such thing as "easy money" no matter how easy the successful ones are.

With youtube though - The vast majority earn about $200 a month from what I have read. Well, There's the utility bill for the month. 🙄
