My Alt Account.

I have one. I rarely use it. I set it up when i was having some issues here with someone who once was a friend and i wanted to do a bit of detective work for my own peice of mind.
I have considered 'retiring' RubySoo more than once but didnt want to delete my old content so I intended to use the alt. acc to sign in on occassion to stay in touch with friends but not get involved here any further.
But, im still here, didnt leave and i still have the alt.
Half dozen of my closest friends know my alt. Theres not much on it. No friends added, and i intend to keep it that way. If any of my friends what to know it, i'll happily share in pm.

The reason im posting this is because i have received a pm today from another member who was also once a friend. In it, they accusing me of stalking them off many fake accounts and have threatened me with legal action if i dont stop harrassing them. Im not. I told them some home truths in my last message to them a few weeks ago ..... and clearly them didnt want to hear them..... which is fair enough.
They've let rip with what they think of me this time, being very personal and vindictive....but hey ho. Lol. I can live with that coz they are so wide of the mark on who and what i am and what makes me tick, that the things they said can't hurt.

Im lots of things, but im not a stalker folks and I dont have dozens of account to make other peoples lives dificult. Most of us do a far better job than anyone else ever could at fucking up our own lives.

@JimboSaturn the very first time I got on a forum was back in probably 1999 and it was funny because it was a clothing forum and people were making threats and saying they had called the police and that their whole family was attorneys and saying that they had been threatened and all this stupid crap and it's like please people get a life

OMG, what is it with people here and their unfounded accusations. 🤦‍♀️
I attribute it to "paranoia syndrome". It's fairly rampant on social media. Sometimes it's projection as well.
Oh I've had my share of accusations and insults as well.😒 Of course I am far from perfect. But still.

Did you report them for harassment?

As far as how many accounts you or anyone has... it's your business and no-one else's. I could not care less! it's just not something I ever stress over.

@Magenta i didnt report them,no.
Id once told them i'd seen a nasty post about me they posted after a previous block......and admitted id seen it on my alt acc. So thats why they think i must be watching them off multiple fake accounts.
I dont have time for that. I have a life!!

I don't understand how people think they can guess so easily that an account is an alt account. There is no way of proving this and so subjective. People say "it sounds like this user" but that is not evidence.

ive been blocked by them now. They can say what they like. Im pretty sure they will be posting sh*t about me now I cant see them. I have had them blocked on my alt for ages anyway....so i cant see anything they post. 🤷‍♀️

I know you enough to know that some people here can hurt you still. I suggest you ignore them or block them. Do whatever you need to to have peace and security. That person wasn't truly a friend ever. She showed you what she truly was in time. She can do nothing to you. The venom she spits cannot hurt you. You don't have to tell us you are not a stalker. I don't have an alt account. Never really needed one.

Yet I once was falsely accused of stalking by a well known user. I understood why she thought why I would.

Her problem came from the fact she was a VIP that constantly was checking her profile views.

People make mistakes though on links. And even clicking one time on someone's profile link causes a problem with them.

Unfortunately it took her years to finally block me. So I no longer have to suffer from her false accusations.

I can imagine a certain kind of person, if they are angry at your reaction to them, somehow jumping to the conclusion that everyone who annoys them here must be you, because you are on their mind and so they "see" you everywhere!

They are obsessing, and so they accuse you of obsessing.

This person is an obsessive type. I have a couple of friends here who had had run ins with them a long time ago, but i always found a likeable side to them, despite all their drama.
But.....i became a nosey old busy body to them.....as has happened to me here before many times.
People love your friendship, help and support while it suits......

@RubySoo Welcome. I don't see things like that. Mistakes create learning. Learning is necessary for growth. That is if one learns from mistakes. Cripes! My lap top just flung me to an ad on erectile dysfunction! Technology and my fingers! LOL. Anyway, some people here like to create drama with alternate accounts. That is their way. As ive said before, its someone id supported and listened to in the past. Even after previous fall outs, id un blick her so she had soneone to talk to if she needed, but, as ive found many times, people dont appriciate it whennyou point out facts or say anything they dont want to here, so im the bad guy again.
Im ok with it. They chose to block me, so ive nothing to feel bad about.
