"New" users who are seemingly instantly banned.

Seen this a few times now. I'm wondering what the process is. What exactly happened?

Were they exposed as a dangerous enemy operative?
Perhaps they got entangled in some top-secret foreign intrigue.
No, No, wait, I've got it! They threw dog doo doo on someone's shoes.

Am I close?

I got a second account once and I was reported and warned for venting about older people. It was nothing. The person thought I was trolling or something. They said I was going to get kicked off and I didn't even do anything. I deleted the account and have had just one ever since and I was allowed 3 at the time.
