Why can I not write my own password. It is impossible to remember the password the system produces
deadgerbil · 26-30
Sounds like your browser is suggesting a new password for you. Are you accidentally clicking on create an account instead of log in?
ArishMell · 70-79, M
Write it on paper and keep that in a safe place.

I need do that because I have a different user-name and pass-word for each and every registration or "account" I have, over a dozen of them; including random alphabet-soups.
ArishMell · 70-79, M
@Royrogers I've not found that, but I keep my list out of any strong daylight.
Royrogers · 61-69, M
@ArishMell I meant the password as it is automatically filled in the password fields on the SW system
ArishMell · 70-79, M
@Royrogers It doesn't tell you it when you first join? (It won't after that.) I can't remember if it does or not; but my PW here is one of my own making.

Wow I just tried to type in my password instead of letting the system do it automatically and it said that my account had been canceled and to contact admin. I had tried to cancel this account a few months ago but couldn't get it done so gave up.. Glitches..

Far be it from me to claim I'm an admin but a password management program might help. If you can remember a password then it will be a bad password.
"ILIKEBUSTYGIRLS" ==> easily remembered, bad
"w358yhrIErtDke7&&;sJe" ==> impossible to memorize, good.
Royrogers · 61-69, M
@helenS very true but the SW password fades out towards the end and it is impossible to note it down
Royrogers · 61-69, M
Ok yes the browser is suggesting a password but it will not let me input a password
helenS · 36-40, F
@Royrogers Consider trying another web browser.
Penny · 46-50, F
i have my own password. you must be confused or something
Royrogers · 61-69, M
@Penny when I go to change my password the system automatically putss in a password
Penny · 46-50, F
@Royrogers yes but it should give you a prompt to change it

Umm, are you not mistaking how your browser suggests a password for you?
Jeffrey53 · 51-55, M
Just decline system operated password and make your own
Nanori · F

Strictmichael75 · 61-69, M

calicuz · 56-60, M
