EP vs SW - differences?
I see people bemoaning the differences between SW and the defunct EP. What are the differences, and why have they come about? Is it a matter of greater/lesser moderation, altered structure of the forum; what?

Well. I really don't understand this place I have to say.
If I post a political or social opinion, I'll get a ton of views and comments. Most of them very engaging, even agressive. I have even posted things totally random like conservatives/liberals be like and a picture of apples or kittens-- and even that got responses like it actually meant something.
If I post creative writing, something very heart felt and experiential, or a very detailed and earnest comment-- nothing. A few positive comments, a couple hearts. Seldom a dialog.
So here your options are to talk to yourself and a lurking vigilant but disengaged community, or throw red meat like everyone else.
