If someone feels it's important enough to take the time to comment on my posts then it's important to me to leave their comments regardless of what they say. Wouldn't life be boring if everyone had the same opinion as you do?

You got a point. However, I don't think it's wrong to delete comments. Rejecting someone's opinion isn't just about putting yours on top theirs, I'm sure you know what I mean. It can be you opposing against what is bad. Many comments may appear offensive or inappropriate, and you have the right to erase them.
