It's a combination of narcissism and emotional immaturity for most.
A) The narcissism feeds their idea that they must be delighted/entertained and that they have nothing left to learn or have done nothing wrong.
B) The emotional immaturity makes them unable to process anyone who contradicts anything to do with A) .
