Could someone kindly tell me how to make it so I see posts from a wider variety of users?

There’s only about 10 people that ever show on my feed.

You could play around with your feed settings, but in my experience they don't do much.
Your best bet is to join as many groups as you can and accept the fact that many posts will remain hidden for you no matter what your do
