Ok, SW, The top scroll : There are people I haven't spoken to in years on there and now there's a dead person.

Answer, please, straight up: is this some kind of sick joke?

I'm not going to say who the person is, because I firmly believe that one of the benefits of being dead is not having to deal with nonsense like this.

@uncalled4 I just see people that are online lately
@uncalled4 did somebody really pass away tho? That’s sad 😔
@TurtleEclipseOfTheHeart We have a few accounts on here that belong to people who have since passed away...

@HootyTheNightOwl just curious...how do people know when a SWer has passed?
@JaneDoe23 sh!t, they’re probably the killer
@JaneDoe23 I don't get why this has to be spelled out.

Some stay in close contact with some people outside of SW and come up with agreed timelines for them to get in touch with each other - obviously, if they don't contact within the approved timetable, death is a reasonable assumption.

Others have terminal illness and just disappear overnight - after two or three years of nothing from a regular contact regime, death is a reasonable assumption.

Sometimes, you get members who are in contact with their friends family who tell them that this person has died... I think that it's safe to presume that this person has indeed died in this scenario.

@TurtleEclipseOfTheHeart I edited my original comment as not to stoop to that level. I shouldn't be surprised to encounter that kind of behavior on the internet anyway lol
