there are many grossly offensive people here... and many, i am sure, who would find my views grossly offensive.

there was nothing surprising about those individuals expressing those views.

i am sorry she was offended. but being offended is one of life's smug little pleasures.

@SW-User well, if i may just add, i too found those comments ignorant, crude, unneccessary and, yes, revolting, if you wish... but i won't give them energy by being offended. and i am pretty sure that nothing i could do would change the attitudes of the people who posted them.
