The older I get, the more questions I have than answers, alas. I admit I’m especially impressed by the numbers of "doctors" we have here who never spent a day in medical school. 😅

@bijouxbroussard It's interesting to watch people whom I think are otherwise intelligent run with a questionable TV news talking point or clickbait as their "premise", which is either wobbly, completely fabricated, or entirely unsupportable. But, welcome to the hill on which they'll die. And these people vote. The world is a terrifying place.
@uncalled4 Indeed.
@uncalled4 Y’know, I said something I never imagined I’d ever say…one of the 18-21 years was expounding upon something they were convinced only had one perspective. Channeling my grandmother, I finally said, "Oh, yes…when I was 18, I knew everything, too." 😋

@bijouxbroussard Here's the intrinsic problem: An 18-year-old doesn't know what's it's like to be our age, but someone our age knows what it's like to be 18. And yes, the world seems black-or-white on every issue. The reason I usually stay neutral, besides the fact that people are generally nuts, is that there are shades of grey on most subjects. And, I'd also like to have friends!
