Is it customary for you to offer your two cents about what someone should and shouldn't have done when they want to really just vent ?

And just get it out of their system ? 🤔

Honestly, it's been true of me a lot of times before. It's less so now.
For me, it was about not realising they don't want a solution and I am someone who is geared towards finding solutions.
I no longer offer my 2 cents willy nilly.

@SW-User I realise it's been offered with good intentions but right there and then it wasn't what I wanted nor needed. I am just looking for an outlet.

@DrScissorhands Sometimes it's hard to know when the other person just needs to vent or needs more help in the form of ideas.
I'm the kind of person if I know things that can help I want to help and share. But yeah I get it. It's best to not share unless asked specifically.
Which makes a lot of posts on here redundant for me, lol.
