Dang, you chatty people are hard work 馃憖

Since my latest well visited post, I'm beginning to understand those who don't reply to everyone who answers their posts. 馃樁

I actually think it might be the notifications page. It has a finite length, and old stuff scrolls off the bottom.

What happens when it fills completely up with unread notifications? Do they start to scroll off, or does the list get longer?

I have always assumed that maybe they scroll off and are lost. If so, then maybe that is one reason things get missed. Of course, it could just be the volume.

@JoyfulSilence Unread notifications do scroll off.

For me that was not a problem though, I still had enough notification space left. It was just that approximately every two notifications meant that I had to reply with a bit more than something like 'ic'. 馃構

Or at least I think it is polite to reply to people on my own post.

@Classified Sorry for the burden.

I could process more, since most of the time when I am on, not much is going on in my notifications page. And there are always the night hours to catch up. This place mostly goes to sleep when the US does, since most people on here are in the US.

@JoyfulSilence Hehe, don't take my complaint too seriously. It is nice when people respond to a post. It just made me understand that some people who post a lot and get lots of responses would be busy the whole day unless they skipped replying back.

I'm from Europe tho.

@Classified

I talk to a lot of Europeans in the wee hours of the night.

The night shift!
ClassifiedM
@JoyfulSilence That is more towards the end of your night shift, right?

@Classified

Yeah, it bleeds into morning, like now. The only problem is my workday starts in 15 minutes.

I cannot both work and play at the same time, for technical (and ethical) reasons. Long story.

@JoyfulSilence Not playing during working sounds normal. 馃
