According to myth and legend, the black cat is supposed to be the common familiar of a witch. It was once believed that witches could also turn themselves into black cats at will. 😁
@SW-User I love reading about stuff like that. It's very interesting.

SW-User
@NomenUsoris Oh yes, I love all folklore, plus books about the paranormal.
@SW-User TV shows about the paranormal are fun to watch. I don't really buy much of it, but I enjoy it.

SW-User
@NomenUsoris Exactly. What's especially fun is checking off all the haunted house symptoms of the sites in the show and comparing them to my own house.
@SW-User I like that, too. I lived in a house once with strange stuff, but I don't think it was the spirit of a dead person. I simply don't know what it was. That was about 13 years ago.

SW-User
@NomenUsoris Right. I don't think there are ghosts in my house; angels perhaps or evil spirits (I hope not) but I don't make any claim. I accept that I don't know the cause of the phenomena and maybe never will.
@SW-User Maybe we'll figure it out one day, but I don't see that happening any time soon. Not many reputable scientists want to attach their names to that kind of research.

SW-User
@NomenUsoris Yes, I've noticed. It's hard to find anyone who takes the subject seriously.
