I don't see any reason to believe it's too easy - it's virtually impossible to block somebody by accident, but when you WANT to, it's simple and doesn't take long. To me, the balance seems about right ..🤔
Not knowing what interactions you'd had with the person, I'm in no position to judge. But relax - some people will block [b]all men[/b] who respond to their comments or stories, equally some will block all women/gays/TVs/Christians/Muslims/Jews/Atheists or whatever. This is because they don't want to hear the opinions of people in that demographic, and it's best to be flattered that they find your opinion that dangerous to their deluded bigotry. In those cases, mostly they're doing you a favour by blocking you, so you don't ever come across their vile spite again!😅
There are some people who block everyone who disagrees with them on their favourite subjects, no matter how polite and considerate you are when you point out your alternative point of view. We're better off without them, because we're ALL entitled to our own opinions - opinions aren't foolproof, and anyone who can't accept that other people disagree is better off blocking the entire planet!😂
But then there are people who only block if they're offended by something the person has said or done, although it's a bit thin-skinned to just block without first explaining that you've offended them and giving you the chance to apologise, so I suspect that the person who blocked you is probably just an arrogant bigot who simply can't accept that they're not perfect😉
