What’s the thing that you’ve splurged most on during lockdown?

For me...a combination of take out and video games.

A lot of household items, appliances and furniture and paid off a vacation, clothes, pretty much buying what ever I want because they want to keep throwing money at us and not open everything to capacity still in my state. That being said gas is now $3.00 a gallon. It’s getting ridiculous.
@Keepitsimple gas was 3.10 yesterday. 2.65 when trump left office

@saragoodtimes it was $2.99 and $3 here yesterday when I was out. We knew this would happen with the gazillion dollar deal they passed. After everybody gets vaccinated this shit Is about to get real, we’re about to get royally screwed with no lube.
@Keepitsimple lube is an oil based product and we won't be able to afford that much longer either. I bought an extra jar of grape jelly yesterday, KY is out of the question anymore

@Stereoguy beats staying in a hotel or motel though. That adds up and you can get bedbugs too easily any more. You could take a nice long road trip for that much money.

@Stereoguy or a PRIUS. I can travel now without staying in motels!

@Stereoguy yeah just pack and go, if you need something stop at a store and get it. No dragging luggage back and forth and no worry about bedbugs when you get home...yikes. And can save some money on meals when you can fix some meals in the RV or have a sandwich etc.

@Keepitsimple yes I live in Oklahoma and we usually have one of the lowest gas prices here and it’s gone way up like the rest of the country. I can’t even imagine how expensive it is in L.A. or NY though, they always have high gas prices anyway.
