Deleted profiles

I often wonder why the posts of banned users or members who pemenantly delete their profiles are still available to read?
If you go into a group ( expecially an 'iffy' one) you can still read stuff banned users have posted....the very content they have been banned for!! X

I think it's cause it they removed all of the persons content then back and forth conversations in posts would end up getting broken. Kind of like how conversations get broken if several of the people that are talking have been blocked. That is my best guess as to why though.
