Have your parents ever told you something that made you upset or angry

Today my Dad told me that I can be socially awkward sometimes. I find this to be not true. It made me feel upset and angry.

Yes my mother compared me to every other little girl out there pointed out how much better she is and how I should be more like them. I was upset and angry. I was told I was slow, not the way she wanted me to be I was angry
