What's with this?

Why are we, all of a sudden, seeing the message on some comments,
This comment is hidden. And then a "Show Comment" button.
One hidden comment was simply, "Yes."

Does anybody know?

it seems to be a combination of trigger words and account reputation. if I reply to this with any of a commonly used as insult terms [or if im often reported for harassing] it'll do that. sw trying hard to keep you from being offended

@PhoenixPhail I think it's because you would think a hidden comment would have something nasty or filthy in it. But then it was just "yes" and that tickled me. Didn't have to dream for that.

@HannahSavannah Yeah, that's why it was so confusing to me. I would have thought it was to hide something naughty. But, no, it wasn't. So, I don't know the purpose of it.
