What is your veiw on parents who smack there kids as disapline was you ever smacked as a kid growing up

The law takes away the parental rights to judge.
I had the belt as a young lad, yet smacked my sons leg once in his life.
All I can see is that we have both grown up OK.

@Uncfred I do think we need some law. Like it should be illegal to punch a child.

@BohoBabe Of course we need laws, but there is a line between discipline and brutality, that line has moved a lot in my lifetime.
