Do you edit your responses often?

I do because I type very quickly and don't proofread before I post. I need to change that. Editing my posts make me look unsure or like I am changing things after the fact to make myself look better. That's not the case, but I should get into the habit of reading over what I write before I post it.

Yes. I have an embarrassing tendency to leave out words, when typing. Correcting that or some other mistake, is the only time I edit my comments after someone has responded.

@Piper I leave out words as well. I have a habit of leaving out the word "not" which completely reverses the meaning of the sentence and often leaves people confused!

@SW-User Ha! I've done that, also. Pretty crucial word to be leaving out, no doubt. 😬

@SW-User @Piper I am notorious for skipping words I intended to insert. Most of my editing is inserting the proper words that were there in my head.

@Peapod No matter how many times I proofread before hitting "submit"....I still do it. It's goofy! I've even caught myself failing to write a word sometimes, on a note or card. That's not quite as easy to 'fix'. 🙃
