why don't all you popular people go on your facebook and instagram or whatever else and put out a mass sos message for people to join the site ?

Because for most people this site is about being anonymous so we don't really broad cast we use it....I like being able to say what's on my mind and not be judged by my coworkers, friends, or family thank you very much. This is a safe haven for most to get thier true thoughts and feelings out and maybe talk to people who actually understand and sure there are jerks here I'm not blind to that but guess what I don't have to face them ever a day in my life I can say jerk and walk away from it.
