Idk if people on here are funny or just wild lol

So this lady blocked me. And I was like okay, cool, some people don't vibe. She's an older conservative white lady from what I gather, clearly with very different views than mine. But then she UNBLOCKED me so she could inform me that I have a "devilish spirit" and that she will be blocking me. O... Kay, thought you already did that but.... Bye again I guess lol? Like blocking people doesn't have to be an insult y'all. I didn't assume it was meant to be an insult, I thought she just didn't vibe with me and so didn't want to see my posts or comments. But apperantly it was because of my devilish Spirit, so watch out y'all 😂😈 I'm coming for yooooou next

The funny thing is, you can't block people for like a day after unblocking them, so she just had to sit there tolerating you for like a day just to say that lol.

But yeah, lots of right-wing nuts on this site. They blow in and out like plastic bags in the wind. They can be pretty entertaining. 🤭

@BlueVeins There are a lot of nuts on both ends of the spectrum to be fair.
BlueVeins · 22-25
@Quizzical Eh, there are a lot of Democrat-aligned nuts, but I can't really think of a legit left-wing nut on this site. The closest I can think of is maybe the man-hating crowd, but even most of those people are cool the rest of the time and that's not necessarily a left-wing thing.

@BlueVeins you have the people who think men should be slaves to women essentially. Idk if that's a left wing nut or a wild kink though 😂😂😂
Quizzical · 46-50, M
@BlueVeins Oh, we certainly have them
BlueVeins · 22-25
@Lucyy I always figured that that was just miserable people who are either in terrible relationships or can't get laid. Or just trying to meme. IDK, there's probably some left-wingers in there.
BlueVeins · 22-25
@Quizzical They must've all blocked me lol.
Lucyy · 22-25, F
@BlueVeins I have a friend who legitimately was like "there's a woman's group in Seattle who think we should just get rid of men in general. You down"? And girl, I love you, but I got a dad and brothers and a fiance, no I'm not down 😂🤣🤣
BlueVeins · 22-25
@Lucyy I'll totally join. Best case, I die. Worst case, they make an exception for me and I eliminate the competition. 👌🏿
Quizzical · 46-50, M
@BlueVeins Well, if you happen to be able to think for yourself and form your own opinions then, yes, it's quite likely they might have done, lol.
Lucyy · 22-25, F
@BlueVeins to be fair, they may have only wanted to off the white guys, I don't remember 😂
Quizzical · 46-50, M
@Lucyy That's a very worrying trend these days...
Lucyy · 22-25, F
@Quizzical I think it's more so the power hierarchy people have an issue with. So they jump to "white men are at the top, so if we take them down, that fixes everything". But it won't because then the person in second place will be at the top lol. We have to get rid of the glass ceiling, and work to end prejudice. What's getting rid of white men going to do to help that lol?
Quizzical · 46-50, M
@Lucyy I have no idea... To be honest I find the whole thing tiring these days.
Lucyy · 22-25, F
@Quizzical i find both ends tiring tbh. I get whiplash from trying to keep up. On one hand, I'm tired of people bringing race into everything, even where it's not relevant. A confrontation that could have happened between two white people is dubbed "racist" because it HAPPENED to be with a black man and a white man. But at the same time, I face racism daily, so I know that we can't just stop talking about it and try to sweep it under the rug. PC is annoying as hell, but if it didn't exist, people have no censors over blatant racism, sexism, homophobia, etc, so there's really no way to win. Someone will always be on the extreme end of the sides.
Quizzical · 46-50, M
@Lucyy That's the trouble when you are moderate and hover around the centre... You see the ridiculousness that both ends of the spectrum are doing and almost knock yourself silly with daily face-palming, lol
BlueVeins · 22-25
@Lucyy I kinda like to frame race issues in terms of politeness, like instead of it being racist to tell ambiguous jokes about slavery in public, it's 'rude.' Or like, if a person of color is being criticized for silly reasons by someone who's probably racist, it's fairly effective to rhetorically assume that they're not and argue from that perspective -- which is deliberately naive, but if you're good at it, it forces them into an impossible position.
Lucyy · 22-25, F
@Quizzical I have no choice either, since one side of my family is very conservative Catholic, and the other is so liberal even I'm sometimes like "eeeeh😬". Family gatherings are fun though 🤣🤣
Lucyy · 22-25, F
@BlueVeins I think the problem is issues with race vary so widely. It could be a slavery joke. It could be a "you don't have a dad" joke. It could be that "how to make a ni*ger tiktok" (even I won't spell out the actual word lol). Or it could be someone straight up saying slavery should be reinstated. It's hard to have one way to address Everything
Quizzical · 46-50, M
@Lucyy I can imagine 😂
BlueVeins · 22-25
@Lucyy Yeah, but people who are outright racist are pretty easy to deal with on account of the fact that everyone else hates them.
Lucyy · 22-25, F
@BlueVeins with today's culture, most people hate those who are prejudice on any level. It's a little harder for me to judge though. It's hard to explain but like.... My family is super diverse. So there are white people in it too. So those people can joke with us about how white we are or how dark we are because it's just what they were raised with. They're not the same color as us, but they're ONE of us if that makes sense. So I always try to address it with the sense that "people come from different environments. Maybe they were raised around people of color, just like my white cousins were". But it's often easy to tell when a joke has crossed from good natured to lined in real racism. But some people don't have the tolerance for it that I have, and others have too MUCH tolerance lol. So its hard to implement that as a culture when everyone has different backgrounds and perspectives
Lucyy · 22-25, F
@BlueVeins also sorry my answers are so damn long 🤣 I talk a whole lot
BlueVeins · 22-25
@Lucyy Don't you fucking apologize to me, you greasy fucking turd-sniffer.
BlueVeins · 22-25
@Lucyy But yeah, there's never a well-defined line with jokes. I tend to appreciate more offensive humor, myself, but it's always a matter of figuring out what contexts are OK... and I sometimes get blocked that way lol.
Quizzical · 46-50, M
@BlueVeins 😧
