Everything you do electronically is collected. The challenge is to make connections to you and the info. Pharmacies and doctors offices also sell data, but they can only identify you by zip code, not name. AI is used to try to take the pieces of a puzzle and try to figure out if it is the same person or not. Grocery store cards track what you buy. They even monitor a woman's menstrual cycle. You'd be surprised what crumbs companies will pay for. I wish they would make some laws about this. But, they won't. You wouldn't allow a person to follow you all day, taking picture, making notes, collecting your trash, and copying your receipts. Why would you allow computers to do that. There has been a shortage of psychologists in the U.S. and now there is a competition for graduates from marketing companies. Don't you think it is a little odd for an advertising company to need so many psychologists?

I want a stalker. Just somebody to check in once a day and say “good morning beautiful!” Or even a goodnight or go to hell would be nice.

They do but it's not like one person is studying you, it's usually just an algorithm that picks it up. However if you're unlucky and get popular on here the chances that the admins (especially if you're a female) will perv on your messages and images is quite high. :P
