What's the difference between a minor account on here and a normal account?

Is it just that they can't see stuff marked as adult content? Someone told me they can't talk to 18+ accounts, but I definitely get message requests from accounts where the age is listed anywhere from 13-17, so that can't be true😂

So.... Don't quote me. But some dude on here said they can't see adults accounts that have adult CONTENT. So like... If you have all family safe posts and groups maybe they can message you?
