What exactly does telecommunications with you doctor mean?

Sooooooo, what exactly does telecommunications with one's doctor or medical clinic actually mean? Does that mean that some medical professional can diagnose if a person is contaminated with Covid19?

@GraceB Pretty much. But I think it has a bit more to do with trumpy bear's late response to the "apparent" crisis, and his preemptive response to his failure to be proactive.

I think he will be more than satisfied with a single, or a double or triple monthly response to pay working adults a minor payment of 1 or 2 thousand dollars.

Which may indeed seem like a huge windfall to those middle and southern non-coastal trumblo states. But will ultimately mean little more than groceries, petrol, and minor incidentals like toilet paper and Purell.

I'm thinking that, that propsed 1 or 2 thousand dollar relief remedy most people in the left wing coastal states rents and mortgage"might," realize at the end of the day will only amount to a drop in the bucket for the regular old person/family.

And, I bet Congress won't even approve the proposal to provide families and single households that meager relief.

Because, you know. That old Communist/Socialist thingy, and stuff

Communication over the phone?

@Nebula Well, that certainly explains it then.

@masaca it's just corporate jargon.

Phone calls with a doctor. They ask questions about symptoms and travel history. You can also ask them to fax prescriptions to your nearest pharmacy if needed. Some pharmacies deliver meds. So it could be a very efficient way to deal with flu and mild Corona cases and various other things that don't absolutely require a doctor to see you in person.

I just don't get it. It seems like to me people should be thinking about rushing the hospitals, clinics, and whatever, trying to get tested. Every week or so. But, it looks like the guy who operates upon "hunches" is saying, "Hey, just call into your On Duty Nurse and she will tell you if you are safe from the virus, or something. I just don't get it.
