@Carissimi it is in many ways, and so horribly 'not', in others...
Very green, very clean natural parts,
More laid back
People can be friendly.
Food is... Food is just... Bloody excellent - we have lots of laws preventing use of many chemicals, hormones etc. All eggs have to be labled if they're cage,cagefree, farm, freerange / organic.
Happy cows😊... They walk themselves to the dairy in most cases,
.. And that's the only place ANY stock will see concrete - they all roam pastures.
However,
The culture is limited, ( perhaps a little backward and reserved), and lacks creative change and varieties of opinion and experience.
Cities are small and are becoming full of trendy knickknack stores. rather than ones that sold quality hand crafted goods made by the owner.
Social events and festivals are mostly small, and we're outside most entertainers itinerary.
Weather is... Well... 😁...it s an island - its all over the bloody place! - four seasons in one day is the norm.
Not hot enuff to be tropical, not cold enuff for wide spread snow.
And although it's often known for having decent rainfall - we have the second thinnest part of the world's ozone layer over us - so you can get Sunburnt on a cloudy day.
But I don't think I'd want to live anywhere else 😊
