@Quizzical 🤔 you bring up a very interesting point. I think if we talk to an anthropologist or primatologist, they would probably admit we actually don’t know what goes on between our primate cousins, in terms of how they think.
We interpret their power relationships as how we see them really. And while we have much in common with them, there seems to be different ways we go about our own relationships, because of our use of imagination and social constructs (fictional realities).
We might be a bit more meta than our primate family.
We can, of course, pretend to be what we consider to be alphas in our mating rituals and fetishes 😂, in the same way I can pretend to be Neo in the Matrix. Love that Homo sapiens imagination.
