Rest your elbow on a hard surface/table. Pull your eye taut, gently, and draw the line from the outerlid in. You can use tape to get lines/wings straight, but that's fussy. Practise.

It just takes practice, lol. Also depends on what look you're trying to achieve. There's a difference between soft, brown eyeliner and cat eye style eyeliner.

Long steady strokes. Start on the lining of your eye and work outward from there once that's lined. That's how I do mine, I wear Kohl/Kajal.
