Why does SW want my face to verify?

Tis a lot of information to ask for. Not to mention the risks. Can you imagine asking Cthulhu for his ID? You'd just go crazy from looking at it.
This is why he isn't asked to pay taxes. Anybody filing his information would go insane.

Now, not to say that i am an eldritch horror of godlike powers, but i am a unicorn from another dimension with demonic magical powers.
Do you guys really want pictures of a horse-like creature and then get abducted by the government for looking at horses on the internet?

Ask for safer to use information, SW~

I ignore verification. These sites do get hacked.

@alan20 Yes. This is one of my main concerns.

@alan20 so do smart phones and credit cards, do you ignore those? 🤔
Oleander · 31-35, F
@wildbill83 The local human government takes care of those for me. Maybe i should call the authorities to verify me here as well?
The important stuff is back home. Nobody can get that unless humans spontaneously develop portal technology or god forbid, an inkling of magical potency.

@wildbill83 Not totally but I'm careful.

this day in age, unless you live in some 3rd world backwater, there is at least one photo of you somewhere that's publicly accessible

but if someone really wanted to steal your info/identity, they could more easily obtain that information through your facebook, phone number, wifi network, etc.

the point being, it's silly to criticize SW verification on the basis of privacy
