I've noticed a few members who put their account on hiatus daily...

...but it's no one I know well enough to ask, "Why?"

Does anyone know if there's an actual reason for that or is it just "one of those things"?

Because they’re special. And need everyone to know how special they are. Either that or they don’t know how to just log off properly
Whoa! Thanks for the BA @DukeOfEarle

The glamour of the place fades. I don't think it will be long before I 'vanish' too...

@Quizzical THAT, I get...
This is a daily thing though...it's like they put their account to sleep the same time they do...and then reactivate the next day.

Probably dangling between leaving forever or staying.

@SW-User Every day though? LOL
I deactivate frequently for privacy. Don't want anyone to know I am on Sw

@RebornPhoenix Are you afraid all your friends and family will want to join too? LOL

No messages or notifications when you "leave". Thats my guess
That’s a strange habit. I don’t understand it.

Maybe all the cool kids are doing it
LucyFuhr · 56-60, F
@dirge You're using the word "cool" ironically, right? LOL

Daily!? That's strange.
LucyFuhr · 56-60, F
@TheGoodGuy Yes...the daily coming and going, totally has me stumped LOL

A break. Something I need

Hello Friend

It's an attempt to stay off of SW so you can stay focused on something.
If you compulsively check SW like I do, it is like an extra step prior to logging in to allow yourself to rethink your compulsion.
LucyFuhr · 56-60, F
@DDonde That extra step isn't really working if they're reactivating again the next day, every day.

@LucyFuhr Maybe it's just to avoid the temptation of checking while they're trying to sleep or something. I know I've done that at least once or twice.
