@SW-User I tried setting up a similar site like SW back in 1997 when I lived in Portland, and marketed the hell out of it. But it never took off, my best guess in hindsight was that the internet world was not ready for such a platform yet.

@NativeOregonian yeah web 2.0 started in 2004. you were way ahead of the game.

@SW-User Indeed I was too far ahead of the game, so many of us busted bad at the beginning should have retried when 2.0 started, but for most of us it had become too expensive to reattempt.

@SassyBunn Not per se. But you’d be amazed how often the question comes up, or someone rags on “all the losers who come to this site”. I always think, “hey [b]you’re[/b] here. And you’d have be here too to know how long others are posting.” 🤔
