How can we persuade the SW admin to forbid members to be rude to each other?

@Glambarber It’s the sort of site made up of people from the real world who are sometimes rude to each other, not a police state. You have the block option if you’re too delicate to handle that.

@Glambarber There’s nothing wrong with that and most people are very nice to each other. You just can’t expect Admin to police it.

@Glambarber 1) It’s not a crime to be rude. 2) They’d be doing it all day long rather than working on much needed modifications to the site. 3) I’m not a child, I can handle my own business. I don’t need mommy and daddy doing it for me.

@Glambarber It has to do with being able to handle one’s own business without the help of some authority figure. Like mature adults are able to do. Which includes using the block button if you don’t like someone’s behavior.

And these trolls you’re so concerned about rarely last here for more than a few days if grown ups act like grown ups and use their block buttons or even better, act like super real grown ups and ignore them instead of crying to mommy and daddy every time someone is mean to them.

The reason trolls and rude behavior persists on the Internet is because people react... giving them exactly what they want.

Ignore them. They'll go away.
