Do you think users who are being muted by a large number of others should automatically be suspended as spam?
Or would that be unfair?

I'd think it's unfair as we won't know why caused the muting. Some mute, others block. All it shows is that the people muting/blocking the other doesn't want to be able to follow the ones in question.
I know I am blocked a lot because of my political/religious/sexual orientation/opinions. I don't even know how many have me muted. Would that mean I should be automatically suspended as spam because I have an opinion and am open about it?
We got TOS, and as long as people stay within those they will have an equally right to stay here as my, you, or anyone else staying within TOS.
We can't let others be judges, back on EP we did see the consequences when people would be automatically suspended by multiple flagging. There were secret flagging patrols that judged whether another member was suited to stay as member of EP or not. If you got on their list they'd make joined efforts to flag you off the site.
That will be my input on the subject.

It was, some of the same people are here, there's no need handing them the tools once more. It was a huge mistake back on EP and part of what made it a very toxic place.

@SapphicHeart Well the reviews of this place are much, much worse. It does not get a very good rating on trustpilot. Very few people have a good word to say about this site. But that didn't put me off.

I don't see anything bad in blocking/muting people when it's a feature given to us by admins. I don't do it easily but have blocked about the same amount of people, more accounts though as some people here love making multiple accounts for certain purposes. All I say, each to their own and I don't blame anyone for blocking or muting me. I prefer that over them harassing me because they don't approve my opinions/orientation.
