Will SW please tighten up on the use of obscene language on the site?
I've had to block yet another member for using filthy language. It shouldn't be necessary, so why is it?

This is a site for people to share honestly. Foul language is sometimes part of it. There are filters in place that allow you to avoid things that offend you. Also, there are mute and block buttons for individuals you do not wish to interact with.
It’s not unlike a television. If you don’t like what’s on you can change the channel, mute the volume, or turn it off altogether.

@Bootsiebaby There are far worse things on this site to rant about. Also, I read the post and reply by chickie that prompted your question and I found no vulgarity in it. Was it blunt and a bit on the harsh side??? Yes. But it wouldn’t even be filtered by SW profanity standards.

@Bootsiebaby If you do not know why real life interactions are different from social media interactions then this may not be the place for you.
For as passionate as you are about your truths, there are others here equally passionate about theirs. This is not a place for an individual to dictate what should and should not be censored. That’s what the administrators do and why there are rules and standards than most of us abide by.
So, again, if this is not acceptable to you then you may want to choose another site.
