Guys and girls? What possibility of an app for myself and others improving this community? Is it anywhere nearer than reality today?
I offered my services as a developer at no cost 2 years ago... and never got so much as a response.

I am sure that they have had many offers but the Admin team, here, is a close-knit team, each with significant experience in his and hr own field. They are cautious - and, rightly so - in all of their manners in handling this site. Their working knowledge of this site has their own considerable, emotional investment in it and its members with whom they have established an excellent relationship. Not all can be reduced to developmental technique.

An app would be cool but I don't think it needs to be a priority yet. Looking at the site on mobile browser looks enough like an app anyway and tbh i think SW is better without being able to see notifications until you log on, not much pressure for immediate replies here
