That would be mental
@Fernie Well, how could it be physical in cyber-space?EVERYTHING here is mental.

@Mamapolo2016 opening a new account to check on someone who blocked me would be especially mental I think
Maybe. I can certainly understand the impulse, though. Say I've developed a friendly affection for someone who admits to being unstable. Somehow I have upset them enough to block me. I feel some guilt and some concern. What if? For my own peace of mind I might want to check up on them. It's not necessarily dark. @Fernie
@Fernie I think we could say that it's of no interest without actually insulting someone that might do it.
Fernie · F
@Mamapolo2016 That's reasonable..unless, like me...you never, ever get that close/involved with people online
@Fernie Different strokes for different folks.
Fernie · F
@Mamapolo2016 correct
Dusty101 · F
@Fernie I completely agree. It's a bit controlling or nosey. That person shouldn't be their business anymore.
Fernie · F
@Dusty101 yes..and how undignified would it be to chase someone who kicked you to the curb? Mental!
Dusty101 · F
@Fernie completely mental...
As my brother used to say "he's a bleeden mentaler" he'd put on a real strong Dublin accent saying it. The laughs we had.

@Mamapolo2016, that piece of it is understandable. I think if someone just drifted away and you had little understanding of why, I could see wanting to know.
@Fernie@Dusty101I understood the question to mean 'check up on them' as in once, they're okay, it's done.

Shadowing their every move would be decidedly mental.

@Mamapolo2016 Yup, that’s more what I was getting at with the question.
