No, I'm not getting "verified".

Ever.

And I don't care whether anyone feels that makes me less "trustworthy".

I also don't hate you or anyone else who chooses to go through with the process. But your personal reasons dont matter to me and I really don't care how easy you thought it was.

My complaint from day 1 has been about the weak justification provided by SW abmins at every level, the sloppy process of rolling this new feature out, and the total lack of disclosure about known threats to privacy and risk of identity theft.

The almost daily tweaking and spin messaging coming from admin support staff hasn't exactly inspired confidence. It's no more clear at this point how this so called "verification" actually protects any of us better, or why it was even needed at all.

It's really no wonder that doubt and confusion have caused some people to take sides. But the problem isn't flaky members (even though they're always out there), it's lousy decision making and communication from the people who claim to be running this sideshow.
